A charming photo is a good reason to look closer, not the whole basis for a purchase. Before a squishy becomes your little desk companion or a gift, check whether the listing answers the questions that matter to your particular use.

The details you should be able to find

Look for dimensions, the described material or construction, age guidance where relevant, and care instructions. Check whether the pictured color and shape match the variant you are selecting. Product descriptions should distinguish a broad feel category from the specific behavior of an individual design.

What a demonstration can and cannot show

A normal-speed video can show how a squishy compresses and recovers. It cannot transmit the exact texture, scent, or resistance you will feel. Look for a clear shot rather than dramatic handling. Reviews may help you identify questions to ask, but another person's favorite texture may not be yours.

Choose a comfortable next step

Check the current shipping information and return policy before ordering, particularly for gifts with a date. Be cautious about blanket claims of universal safety, guaranteed lifespan, or medical benefits. At SQUEEZU, use feel and shape as browsing tools, then read the details of the item you choose. A considered purchase can still be playful.

Use a short pre-checkout list

Before adding to the cart, answer five questions: which exact variant am I selecting, what are its dimensions, what feel is described, what care guidance is available, and does the delivery information fit my plans? For a child's gift, add age guidance and warnings. If an answer is missing, ask the store. A short pause at this stage is easier than trying to resolve a mismatch after a gift has been opened.
